HEY THERE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!

Welcome to my blog y’all!! For those of you that don’t already know, my name is Lydia Grace and in the Fall of 2022 I will be traveling with my squad for 9 months and will be serving the Lord in Guatemala, South Africa, Cambodia, and Thailand. Crazy, right?!?! I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity and am beyond excited for all of the adventures, memories, and growth that I know will be produced throughout this upcoming year. I hope y’all are as pumped as I am and I want to thank you in advance for all of the prayers and support that I know is coming my way!!! Along the way, I hope to post fun preparation blogs and updates on my planning, packing, and route information! Lord willing and depending on the wifi situation, I plan to post bi-weekly, if not weekly, updates and pictures while on the World Race Gap Year! So, if you want to join me on this journey feel free to subscribe to my page and let’s get this party started!

I LOVE YALL!!!!!!

A little bit more about me… I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I’m a beach bum at heart (Topsail Island is my happy place!!). I am always down for a Bojangles fry run, and occasionally you can catch me and my bestie having a late night study session/chit-chat at Waffle House. I am a proud lover of everything Disney and my dream is to eventually be a part of the Disney College Program, just like my mom was. My family means everything to me, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. I love anything arts and crafts, and playing the piano is one of my favorite ways to worship. All of my friends pick on me for saying “supper” instead of dinner, and my favorite genre of music is definitely country (surprise, surprise!) My dad’s chocolate chess pie is the best dessert in the world, and an iced vanilla latte from Black and White Coffee always hits the spot. I love my crazy dog, Ellie, and my favorite colors are blue and purple. And lastly, someday, I hope to have a beautiful farm and big-ole happy family! So yeah, I think that about covers it. That is me. I don’t at all feel worthy to travel the world and share God’s love, but I’ve learned that none of this is actually about me or what I can do. It is only through God that I have taken this leap of faith and only through Him will I be able to complete this journey. Here I am God, send me.
